Florida tarpon fishing is a big part of the Flywater Expeditions yearly migration. This year was no exception and we had some incredible tarpon fishing along the way. We started out in the Florida Keys in early April and worked our way up to the Florida Panhandle. The Tarpon migration this year was pretty solid. Late cold fronts kept the fish from moving to the north earlier then usual which allowed for longer periods of good fish flow. We were blessed by good weather for the most part which kept the water clean and allowed for great sight fishing opportunities on fly and light tackle. A lot of big fish were caught but we also had a ton of fun with the juvenile tarpon in the Florida Keys. We look forward to having you join us next season and let us know when you want to plan your next trip!!
